Cancel and delete an account
Understand subscription cancellation, delayed deletion, agent termination, retained records, and irreversible data loss.
Account deletion cancels renewal and permanently removes the account, agent instances, stored credentials, and associated data at the applicable deletion time.
Before requesting deletion
- Export important notes, Vault assets, code, and voice samples.
- Finish or stop background work.
- Record invoices or transaction documents you need.
- Revoke external connector credentials when appropriate.
- Confirm no other person relies on an admitted channel agent.
Stopping agents is not a backup. Their disks are deleted during account removal.
Submit the request
Open Cloud Console → Settings → Cancel and delete account. Read the destructive-action summary,
select the action, type DELETE, and confirm.
If an active subscription has paid time remaining, renewal is canceled and deletion is scheduled for the end of that term. Otherwise deletion can begin immediately.
What deletion does
- terminates all agent VMs;
- deletes their attached boot disks and local data;
- removes stored connector and tailnet credentials;
- removes the account and associated application data;
- ends access to the Cloud Console and workspaces.
Required transaction or compliance records can be retained where law requires it. Read the Privacy Policy for the governing terms.
Scheduled state
The settings page shows the scheduled time while the service remains available. Continue to avoid new long-lived data because it will be deleted at that boundary.
Contact support promptly if the request was mistaken. Do not assume a scheduled or started deletion can be reversed.
This operation is broader than terminating one agent. Use the agent card’s Terminate action when only one environment should be removed.
