Notes Studio

Notes Studio is the agent’s durable Markdown workspace. Use it for project context, meeting notes, research summaries, checklists, and decisions that should survive conversation compaction.

Create and edit notes

Open Notes and create a note from the studio actions. Give files descriptive names and keep one topic per note when you want reliable search results. Changes are saved to the agent’s notes vault.

Use Markdown headings and lists to keep long notes navigable. Links and code blocks remain portable outside Pneum.ai.

Import Markdown

Drop Markdown files into the studio’s import surface. Review imported filenames and content before using them as instructions; a note is reference material and can contain untrusted text.

Large collections are easier to manage when folder and filename conventions are consistent.

Search and reindex

The assistant can search notes by text and, when semantic indexing is enabled, by meaning. If recent edits do not appear in semantic results, run the available reindex operation before duplicating the note.

Search results are evidence to inspect, not proof that no other relevant note exists.

Insert media from Vault

The note editor can open Insert from Vault and attach or reference generated media. Preview media before insertion and keep a text caption when the note must remain understandable without the file.

Ask the assistant to use notes

Name the note or topic in your request. For example: “Use the launch checklist note and tell me which steps remain.” The agent can read, search, create, edit, and list notes according to tool policy.

Backup and lifecycle

Notes live on the agent’s persistent storage. They survive a VM stop and start, but they are deleted when the Cloud agent is terminated. Export important notes before destructive lifecycle actions.
